When one high-strung journalist, city born and bred, is sent into the wilderness to write a prize-winning story, what he finds instead is a life-altering adventure filled with danger and the one female that can tame his heart.
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Synopsis:

Isaak Lee, a city-bred award-winning wildlife journalist in Toronto, is given an ultimatum by his editor: gain authentic wilderness experience or lose his job. This leads him to the Great Bear Rainforest where he meets his unexpected guide, Dani Skybird, who challenges his urban sensibilities by teaching him survival skills and showing him the raw beauty of the wilderness.

As Dani teaches Isaak to fish, forage, and appreciate nature, their growing connection is interrupted when they discover evidence of poachers who have wounded a bear. While tracking the injured animal, Isaak is captured by the poachers who destroy his satellite phone, but Dani helps him escape. With incriminating photos on Isaak's camera, they become the hunters' new targets.

The pair find themselves in a dangerous chase through the forest, eventually leading to a tense standoff with the poachers. They're saved by the timely arrival of forest rangers, led by Dani's friend Tyler. After the poachers are arrested, Dani shows Isaak one final wonder - a rare spirit bear - and they share a romantic moment before returning to civilization.
However, their budding romance is shattered when Dani discovers text messages revealing Isaak's plans to write about the sacred spirit bear - something that could endanger the creature she's sworn to protect. They part ways in anger, leaving Isaak to return to Toronto alone.

Unable to write the story his editor wants, Isaak instead writes a personal piece about his journey through Dani's eyes, titled "Aurora Skies." He returns to Vancouver with the published article, tracking Dani to her oceanside cabin. Under the northern lights, he proves his changed perspective and devotion to protecting the wilderness, leading to their reconciliation.
